The Missing is the second chapter in the novel, Forsaken Chains, read aloud by Margaret Jones-Bricker.
It has been three weeks since Mrs Spencer Thornton has heard from her son, Andrew Thornton. She is terribly distraught and eventually makes her way to Scotland Yard and the Missing Persons Bureau.
